We recently purchased several Monster Cages rack systems for our growing ball python collection. These are easily the best racks we've ever used for ball pythons. It is very easy to control both the temperature and humidity.

Our sheds have never been better! Each box acts like a hide box, which helps timid snakes feel more secure. We have several extremely picky feeders, which, after moving them to our new Monster Cages racks, settled in and began feeding. We are so happy with these racks that we plan to convert our entire ball python collection to Monster Cages.

"I got my first MonsterCage in spring 2004 and am using it to house an 8-foot male Jampea Retic. The cage is 48 x 30 x 18 and heated with a 12 x 18 radiant heat panel.

"I like the cage a lot. The 1/8" gap around the door provides sufficient ventilation yet doesn't let the heat and humidity escape like traditional screened vents can.

"This cage is obviously doing a great climate job because my retic has been having one-piece sheds and eating like a champ. Another great feature is that there are no spaces like you'd get in between sliding doors and litter dams that a retic could push its head into. Plus, this cage is strong enough to bolt a horizontal perch to the walls yet light enough to move by myself. And I like the 18" height for easy access. No hard to clean nooks and crannies either; just smooth flat floor, walls, and ceiling. And by the way, the price was right, too.
